Susan Trotter
(aka ST)
Susan is truly an “All American Woman” because of her versatility and determination. While raising two daughters as a single mother, Susan managed to graduate from TCU the age of 52 and is now the proud owner of her own business.
Being an avid photographer, runner, and traveler, Susan inspired me to go out and search the world to see what it had to offer. The truth is, Susan bought my first travel guidebook, Rick Steves’ “Europe Through the BackDoor.”
Susan’s background in traveling made her the consummate travel companion. In my opinion, there wasn’t one better when it came to seeing the world. With the “Go Girl Go” and "We are here, lets do it!" attitude, Susan was not only fun to travel with, but was always ready for the next unknown adventure.
I will always be indebted to Susan for her friendship, encouragement, worldly ways, and companionship as we traveled over many of the Highways of the World. Although Susan no longer travels with me, I still carry her teachings, wisdom, and adventuresome spirit as I traverse the unknown roads the world has to offer.
This pictorial tribute to Susan shows her traveling down many of the “Highways of the World” that I had the pleasure of sharing with her. This is my way of saying “Thanks” to a wonderful lady and travel companion.
May the Good Lord continue to look after her no matter where she is.
